The self-assembled, pumpless solar hot water system Is a full functioning solar hot water system that doesn’t require any electricity.

 

It just needs to be placed in direct sunlight and physics takes care of the rest. 

The elevated water tank feeds the collector water from the bottom and provides sufficient head to overcome pressure drop within the system. 

As the water is heated in the collector, its density drops creating a convective flow condition. The process repeats continually until the tank is full of hot water.
